Whenever I ask a Christian about their faith and why they believe in Christianity, I seem to get standardized answers that seem like they're pre-programmed. Whenever I really start to dig into their beliefs or faith, I seem to irritate them, even though I'm only providing them with the facts about Christianity.

Would facts like,” No one really knows whether God created the earth,” offend Christians in any way? I believe that a statement like this would offend most Christians, because it puts them on the defensive. Even though I don't have any evidence to prove that God didn't create the earth, Christians don't have enough evidence to prove that he did.

These are the facts that most Christians seem to be afraid of. I watch in disbelief sometimes, as Christian leaders persuade educated followers or potential converts by telling them things that might not be true. In order to create fear and guilt, some Christian leaders make claims that aren't even listed in the Bible.

Here's a small list of facts that might interest Christians who are searching for the truth about Christianity.

1. There isn't enough evidence to prove that Jesus performed any miracles.

2. No one can really prove that the Bible was written or inspired by God the Creator of everything.

3. Are there 10 Commandments, 12 Commandments or 14 commandments? Read the 10 Commandments and see how many commandments you come up with on your own.

The word that I would like you to focus on, is facts. Are your Christian leaders giving you factual information or twisting Bible scripture to promote something that they believe in?

If you listen close enough, to anyone even myself, you can find problems with the facts and claims that they make. The difference between most Christians and people like me is that I will be glad to admit that I'm wrong about something, if you can provide enough evidence to support your claims.

Christians shouldn't be afraid of facts anymore.
