If I was going to ask an atheist a question, it might go something like this,” Do you really believe in evolution and how can you prove it?” If the atheist was going to answer this question and try to make some sense out of it, they could easily find themselves stumbling over their own sentences after a while.

It seems like it's extremely difficult to prove that god doesn't exist, but it's just as difficult to prove that God does exist. If you belong to a Bible study group or know other Christians, I would like you to ask them this simple question,” Why does the Bible contradict itself?”

It's not a hard question, but it's often a hard question to answer. If you believe everything that's written down in the Bible, how come you don't live your life by it? I'm not talking about just doing the things that you personally think are important or maybe the things that your church or religious organization beliefs in, I'm talking about doing everything that is written within the Bible.

One Bible verse says that you should kill or murder or someone who breaks the laws written within it, while other Bible verses instruct you not to kill anyone ever and to get along with your enemies. Anyone can make sense out of anything, if they really want to and they often do. That doesn't mean that you need to believe everything that sounds like it makes sense.

If you ask this question and someone says that they really don't know, you should ask them another question,” Do you ever question your faith or beliefs?” If you truly don't know why there are contradictions in the Bible, it wouldn't be a bad idea to start learning more about something that you believe in.
