Basic Human Rights or Religious Text - A Must Read for Christians and Muslims

By Gregory B  Articles For Christians

Both the Qur’an, Torah and the Holy Bible have Bible verses that strip women of their basic human rights. The problem is, that men actually read these Bible verses and believe that they should and are actually obligated to control their women, because they are superior to them.

I would like to point something out here to any intelligent person or any one, especially another man,” you should treat people as you would like to be treated.” Think about this for a second, if you weren't born a man, would you like to be treated like a Christian woman who can't speak in church or a Muslim woman who has to walk behind her husband.

Just because someone wrote this in a book over 1400 years ago and for the Torah, almost 2500 years ago, it doesn't mean that it is right. There are plenty of things that don't make sense today, in these books that were written so long ago. Let's face it, when are we going to do something about human rights, especially women's rights in organized religion.

If you're a man, and you believe that your wife should obey you, do you actually have the ability to make every decision in your house correctly. Does God really give you the power to reign supremely with the ultimate authority, that would eliminate any mistakes that could ever happen with your final decision, about anything?

Let's face it the answer to this question is no, but there are plenty of men out there, who seemed to have problems, with women and authoritative positions. The truth is, there is no need to treat anyone as a subservient person. Think about it, and if you're a man who treats women as unequal, remember this, you have the ability to change. The problem is, do you actually want to change.
