Billy Graham Chose to Believe in the Bible

One of my favorite things to do is watch biographies about famous people and listen to stories about people's lives that are interesting. Billy Graham is obviously one of those people. While watching a biography on him, I learned something about him that seemed fascinating.

Billy Graham had a close friend and together they preached, prayed and worshiped with millions of people all over the United States. Together they seem to be an unstoppable team, converting thousands of people to follow their beliefs in Christianity, until one day when Billy's friend questioned his faith.

His friend asked him about some of the scriptures written inside of the Bible and was having a problem believing that this was the real written word of God and not simply something that was made up by man. This man was having problems with his faith and Billy couldn't seem to help him, but made a decision that would change his life forever.

Within a few years, Billy's friend and fellow preacher whom he had spent plenty of time with, became an agnostic and quit trying to convert unsuspecting potential followers. Billy prayed one night to God and told him that he would never again question anything that was written in the Bible. He was going to live his life entirely on faith without proof.

I don't really have a big problem with this, as long as you're going to keep your beliefs to yourself. The problem I have with it is that Billy Graham spreads the message all over the world today about something that doesn't seem to have enough evidence to support claims written inside of the Bible.

He has chose to impose his will and beliefs on millions of other people, without knowing, whether Christianity was a religion founded by man or God. I don't think it's fair for anyone to spread a message to others, without providing them with a little insight on Biblical speculation.

Billy Graham is offering hope to millions, without being completely honest with them and that's not fair.
