	By Greg Vanden Berge Articles For Christians God Said What Videos If you were born today as a Christian and we sent you back in time somehow, you probably would still be a Christian, but Christianity wasn't even started until after Jesus died around 30 C.E. That might be hard to accept for most people, but Christianity hasn't been around as long as you might think. I can only imagine asking a majority of Christians a few simple questions,” When did Christianity start?” What was the exact year that they made Jesus a God? And last but not least, who actually decided that Jesus’ birthday was going to be on December 25, when no one really knows what the exact day is that he was born? Obviously Christians were not around, before Jesus so they definitely would not have been around 3000 years ago, according to our history books and the Holy Bible itself. I don't think that the word Christian or Christianity was ever mentioned in the Old Testament and if it was, was it actually referring to Jesus of Nazareth as the Messiah? 3000 years ago most of the people that were living on the planet Earth were worshiping idols and a variety of other gods. The Egyptians obviously had their own gods, Indians all over the world have theirs and of course a few scattered followers of Judaism, had the one true God, according to them. If you were a Christian today and you went back in time, a lot of the beliefs and cultures would look very primitive, yet these people would be extremely offended, if you told them that their gods were make-believe and then handed them the Holy Bible. Even though the word Christian wasn't slung around 3000 years ago, I don't know for a fact, whether they truly did or didn't exist, because I wasn't there. I could see some Christian reading this article, right now starting to spin the wheels of creativity in their minds, trying to figure out a way to prove that Christians actually did exist, that long ago. I'm joking of course, but I'm sure that there's someone out there who can interpret the Bible in a specific way, to prove that Christians were here before dinosaurs.
