All Christians Have Been Brainwashed, Is It True

This could be the news of the century, that all Christians have been brainwashed. Doesn't that sound like something an atheist would say or a nonbeliever? What do they know anyway, they don't even believe in God?

How could it possibly be true that any Christian could have ever been brainwashed? When I was a child, I went to church and found the truth in Christ. I wasn't brainwashed, I don't even know what they're talking about when they suggest that my beliefs were formed by my parents and teachers. That's hogwash.

Brainwashing is something that's done to prisoners of war and only happens under extreme conditions. You can't be brainwashed if God gave you free will and a Bible to read every day. Just because your parents and their parents believe in Christianity, doesn't mean that you have to, it's your personal choice. God gave us free will and the right to do what ever we choose to.

I'm so sick and tired of people telling me, that I've been brainwashed and that's the only reason why I'm a Christian. I'm a Christian, because I believe that Jesus is God and that's it.

Whenever someone tells me that there are problems or contradictions in the Bible, I simply defend my beliefs in Christianity and tell them that my Bible doesn't have any mistakes or errors in it.

I don't want them to show me, what they're talking about, because they don't even know what they're talking about. How can somebody tell me that Jesus isn't God? When are they going to realize that there is only one God and his name is Jesus?

I feel sorry for those people who question the Bible or the beliefs of Christianity, because I know where they're going and it isn't heaven. Don't get me wrong, I love people who aren't Christians, otherwise I wouldn't be a real Christian. I just don't accept their lifestyle or their beliefs.

Obviously, I'm not a Christian and would like to make a point here. Whenever I ask someone, if they consider themselves to be brainwashed, it seems to provoke them. I am just asking a simple question, do you think that it was possible for you to have been brainwashed and that is where your religious beliefs came from.

I'm only sharing this with you, because it happened to me.

Anyone who believes that their religious beliefs have never been influenced by someone, needs to seriously re-examine their past. If you surround yourself with others who think like you do, this will actually reinforce the beliefs that you have formed through out your life.

If you haven't been brainwashed or influenced by others, would you at least take some time out of your busy life to learn more about the origins of Christianity and other religions.
