I would often look up at the sky while I was praying and asking God for things that I rarely received. It wasn't until I personally started looking at the evidence that was right in front of me, once I started to do a little research into Christianity. The more research that I did, led me to more questions and some of these questions haven't been answered. The point I'm trying to make here, is that I actually took the time to start looking for the evidence to see whether Christianity should be my religion of choice. Everyone in my family was a Christian and most people whom I associated with were also Christians, but it wasn't until I started looking at the evidence, that I started to pull away from my early Christian beliefs. If you're the type of Christian who accepts everything that your religious leaders are telling you, without questioning any of it, you're living in a protective bubble. Whenever a nonbeliever or atheists approaches you, you automatically consider them to be the enemy or even evil. If you're the type of Christian who never questions anything, you might find yourself making the assumption that these people are actually possessed by the devil. What would it feel like, to actually know the truth about Christianity? The next time that someone asks you a question, you would actually have the answer. Doesn't this sound a lot better than living a life based on beliefs instead of facts? There's a famous quotation that goes something like this,” The truth shall set you free.” If you really start digging into Christianity with an open mind, I believe that the truth can actually set you free.
