Let's face it, there are so many different kinds of religions and spiritual beliefs available today. It's almost like entering a large religious supermarket and working your way through every religion, until you find one that makes sense or suits all of your needs. How would you describe Christianity to someone who is interested in joining this large religious organization? Would you start with Jesus, the Bible, Old Testament stories or would you entice them to join this wonderful religion, by sharing the wonders of Jesus Christ with them. Would you talk about how great Jesus Christ is? Would you choose to tell them about heaven or hell? A large majority of Christians, are actually Christians, simply because they are waiting to go to the promised land. You could use something like this to convince anyone to follow your Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. If that's not enough to convince them, it's time for some fear. Everyone seems to understand fear, even though they don't like it. You can always explain the negative benefits to them, about hell. If they don't want to belong to your organization, they will wind up burning in a lake of fire for eternity. This one usually drives it home for most nonbelievers and weak minded people. If you're seriously trying to convince people to join Christianity, you should make sure that your educated yourself about the things that you are sharing with other people. This seems to be one of the biggest problems today. A large majority of Christian conversions are done by Christians with a limited understanding of Christianity. Make sure that you're not one of these people. |
