I was thinking the other day about all the different pictures of Jesus, but no one has any pictures of him or really knows what he looked like. Did Jesus actually have a mustache or could he have had a beard? Most scholars can easily give Jesus a beard, because this was one of the most common items on a man during Jesus’ times. But could he have had a mustache, or maybe he was clean-shaven. I vote that Jesus was clean-shaven and even shaved his head. Someone else might view Jesus as a hippie, with a beard and long hair. Another might view Jesus was short hair and a goatee. How do you view Jesus and what does he really look like to you? Now it's time for the real truth, that most people don't want to accept. We really don't know what Jesus looked like and there's a pretty good chance that we might not ever know. If there are any pictures of him, no one has brought them forward to be examined by religious scholars or historians. The next time that you look at a picture of Jesus and say wow, what a nice looking man, think twice, because you might just be looking at an image of another man, instead of the leader of Christianity. If you really want a treat, go into one of the search engines and type in Jesus in the image area and see what comes up. Most Christians don't know that there aren't any images of Jesus. If you really want to have some fun, ask other Christians to describe what Jesus looks like and after they have described the image to you, inform them that they could be wrong.
