Digging up the Evidence about Jesus

Anyone can choose to believe something, but it takes a totally different kind of person, to question something. Are you the kind of person who chooses to believe, anything that someone says, or are you the kind of person that requires a little bit of evidence, before you will support any facts or beliefs?

The reason why I'm asking this is very few Christians ever spend the time required to study Christianity. There are millions of Christians, who proclaim their belief in Christ as their Lord and Savior and some of them even proclaim him to be God, the Creator of the universe. Yet very few of these people show any interest in studying Christianity.

If you're serious about digging up the evidence about Jesus, you're going to need to open your mind up and I'm not just talking about opening your mind up a little bit, you're going to have to get the crowbars out, maybe a couple of jackhammers and start chipping off the thick crust covering your mind, that's been protecting your beliefs for years.

Most people don't want to or accept the truth about Jesus. Was Jesus actually a man on a mission, with a message? Some people actually believe, that Jesus was some sort of enlightened being, but wasn't actually God, the creator of the world. Does this bother you or upset you, when someone else talks about this?

Preparing yourself for the truth, might not make you the most popular person within your Christian organization. So if you're interested in winning a popularity contest, you might want to keep your quest for knowledge to yourself.

It's not going to be easy, and if you have a weak stomach or truly don't have any interest in finding the truth out about Jesus, consider yourself part of the majority. Most Christians, only want to hear information that supports their beliefs. It takes a pretty strong person to accept the evidence about Christianity and the life of Jesus.
