Christianity obviously influences Americans and sometimes these Christians don't seem to observe the rights of other people. Sometimes these Christians don't even respect the rights of other Christians. It's hard to imagine that Christianity was started by someone influenced by love and compassion.

If Christianity represents love and I'm talking about loving your neighbor and loving your enemies, how could they possibly impose their will on others who don't want anything to do with their religious views?

You can see examples of this behavior at Planned Parenthood centers and political events across the United States. It doesn't seem like it's enough to be a Christian, you have to force your beliefs onto others who are unwilling to accept them.

I don't know if I would have such a big problem with this, but most Christians seem to know very little about their religion. If one of their religious leaders tells them something, they absorb this information without questioning it and within a short period of time, these people are spreading these beliefs all over the place, even though they're not true.

The only problem with these beliefs, is that they don't have any factual information to support their claims. You can't simply say,” If it's in the Bible it's true.” That worked a long time ago, but today ignorance is starting to become part of our past and this is no longer acceptable.

I often tire of religious believers who impose their religious beliefs upon others, when they themselves don't have enough information to support the claims they are making.

If you're a Christian, I would like you to take what I'm about to say and give it some serious thought. If you don't like it when an atheist or nonbeliever or even another Christian, imposes their beliefs and religious views on to you, why would you do it to someone else.

Do want to others as you would have done unto yourself. This sounds like good advice to me.
