Feeling Blessed As I Seek the Truth on My Religious Journey

If there is a God, I feel truly blessed by this entity. I have been allowed by him or her or it, to study world religions and the psychology behind these beliefs. The only way that I can describe my journey, is to explain the steps that I have taken along the way.

My childhood consisted of going to church once a week on Sunday. Their I would study for about 45 minutes, something about the Bible or Christianity, which I had no interest in, at all. I was usually more interested in snack time and recess that I was learning about the Lord.

By the time I was 18 years old, I had had enough of Christianity and was even more confused about this religion and other religions, then I had been at any other time in my entire life. Out of necessity, I went down to my local bookstore, and started browsing around at some books on philosophy.

I soon found a book, that changed my life. I started reading this book, and it inspired me, to purchase other books and soon I found myself asking questions to those who I thought were knowledgeable about their particular religious beliefs.

I soon found myself listening to Christian programs, reading the Bible, and studying the theories behind evolution and creation. All of this stuff seemed to confuse me more, but I knew that someday, I would get closer to the truth.

I'm still looking for the truth about where we are going, why we are here and where we came from. I'm going to continue to write and educate myself, because it's changed my life and continues to change my life on a regular basis.

I really feel blessed by God, as he or her or it has provided me with the ability to reason and understand some of the information that I am continually digesting. I already said that it has changed my life, the part that I haven't said yet, is that it can change yours also.

If you're tired of living without the truth, I would advise you to start looking for it.
