There is no right or wrong answers and you won't be graded on your answers, simply read them and answer them to yourself. 1. Is Jesus truly the same person as God the Creator from the Old Testament? I've given this one a lot of thought over time and it seems to become more confusing, the more that I study Christianity. 2. Where did God come from? Most Christians can easily accept the belief that God was the creator of the universe and everything that we see, except for the things that man created and built with God's help of course, but who were his parents or did he even have any parents. 3. Why does God allow suffering? This has been one of the hardest things for me to accept in any religion, especially those who justify that God has a reason for doing everything. Why does one family remain poor and hungry, while another family has more than they need, yet each one of these people share the same beliefs about Christianity? 4. Why would Jesus be God's only son? If God could create anything that he wanted to, why wouldn't he have created more children? 5. Finally the one that you have been waiting for. Do you really believe everything that you read in the Bible? The written word of God can be extremely confusing and often contradicts itself. If this book was truly written by the smartest person in the universe, why would it have so many contradictions? If you really want to start your educational motor, try doing some research on early Christianity and the origins of the Holy Bible. |
