Your Christian Views upon Others |

By Greg Vanden Berge Articles For Christians God Said What Videos Almost every hard-core fundamentalist Christian then I’ve ever met seems to force their point of view about Christianity upon every one that they meet. Often making the weak minded people feel guilty about their present beliefs. Is it suppose to be this way? Are Christians suppose to make people feel guilty, because they don't believe in Jesus or try to convert them, because they care and love them. It can be done in a different way. I have never been a supporter of Christians who try to convert others, for any reason. If someone needs help, simply help them. If someone needs a meal, feed them. It's that simple. Help and love people, like Christ did. If you're a Christian, you should know what Christianity is all about and it isn't about forcing your Christian views upon others. Most Christians were either raised to believe in Christianity or were converted from another religion or belief to Christianity. Obviously there wouldn't be very many Christians if someone didn't convert them at one time. Hopefully, this didn't involve forcing their beliefs onto poor, weak minded or unsuspecting, possible converts. If someone wants to sincerely hear what you have to say, they will let you know. There's no need to create any “fear” about the apocalypse, end of times, a jealous God or hell. At the same time, you don't need to paint an “unbelievable” picture of heaven, for them. If you've never seen it heaven, how can you preach about it to others. If you don't know that there really is a devil or evil that was created by man, how can you possibly explain this to someone else? Jesus helped people, spread the gospel and did it with kindness. Except for the time, when he got mad and knocked over a few tables in the temple. We can't all be perfect, can we? Here's a little tip that most Christians rarely think about. Why did Jesus get mad at the money changers in the temple? He obviously lost his temper and was mad, upset, angry or any other emotion that you could tie to his frustration with the money changers. When someone says that Jesus is without sin, what would you consider this to be? Did he hate these people? Something to think about. |
