How Do You Apply Christianity to Your Life?

First we need to find out what a Christian actually is. The word Christian is only mentioned a few times in the New Testament and was never mentioned in the Old Testament. How are we going to find more information on how to apply Christianity to our lives?

If you're reading this article, it tells me that you're interested in Christianity, there are hundreds of millions of people that will never read this one article. You're here for a reason, because you're interested in how to apply Christianity to your life.

To be a Christian, is to live a life like Jesus from Nazareth, you don't need to be poor or rich, fat or skinny, beautiful or ugly, you simply need to live a life like Jesus. Jesus preached about giving, loving and helping.

If you truly want to be a Christian, you need to give to others, for example: Donate some of your time to a charity that you believe in, help your children with their homework, prepare a meal for someone else, pick up trash that isn't on your property, help someone out who is less fortunate than you in a constructive way.

I am not suggesting that you start rounding up all of the homeless people and animals within your community and taking care of them. Most of the time, this isn't helping them, but hurting them.

Jesus was a very loving person and he suggested that we should love our enemies like we love ourselves. We should also love our neighbors. I believe that this is the true message of Christianity. Love every one unconditionally and you will have a wonderful life.

If you really want to be a Christian, you will need to learn more about Christianity and this will require educating yourself with books, movies and Christian sermons that can be heard on radio and all over the Internet.

The first book that I would recommend, would be,” Did God Actually Say That.” It's a wonderful book and can willingly open your mind towards Christianity and its true message.
