I have heard plenty of people tell me that they're saved and I always seem to get the same response from most of these people. They went to church one day, felt the Lord working through their body and were saved.

I guess this makes a little bit of sense, I'm not in their body and I can't call these people liars. I myself was sitting on the toilet the other day, and had a strange feeling that ran through my body and it inspired me to write this article.

What if the same feeling that I had while I was sitting on the toilet, was the same feeling that these people are having in church? I'm not trying to make fun of people who consider themselves to be saved, I'm simply trying to make a point here.

Let's say that you're sitting in church, lying in bed, watching TV or taking a walk and all of a sudden, you have a feeling that you have never felt before. If you're not involved in any religious groups, you're probably not going to think twice about this feeling.

Yet thousands of people, have feelings like this, and consider it a sign from God. Again, I'm not telling you that this isn't what's happening to these people. I'm trying to get you to think and sometimes it takes an article like this, to get people to start thinking about their beliefs.

Just because you have a certain feeling, doesn't mean that you’ve been saved. If a woman had a hot flash, 300 years ago, her religious leaders could tell her that this was a sign from God. Today this would be a little more difficult, especially if you have a doctor or scientist who can easily explain this situation.

I have heard too many people tell me that this is why they joined a religious organization. They felt God worked through their body and this motivated them to change their lives.

The next time that you have a hot flash, feel good about something, feel bad about something or just simply have a feeling that you don't understand, doesn't necessarily mean that this is a sign from God the creator of everything.

Just something to think about, but please, think about.
