The Bible isn't any harder to read than any other book. You read the words and try to comprehend what the original author was trying to say. If you're reading a book and you don't understand a couple of the words or even a few of the sentences, you don't quit reading the book, you do a little research to find out what message these words or sentences are trying to say.

Let me put it to you like this, there's a good chance that there isn't any secret messages hidden within the Bible or secret sayings that your going to be looking for. There are plenty of contradictions and other problems that you can worry about, but don't look for any hidden messages or start your own religious cult, just because you read something and interpreted it in a certain way.

You don't need to read the Bible from beginning to end. This might work well for some people, but the Bible wasn't written in the order that the books have been arranged and don't need to be read that way. Try to break the Bible into smaller sections, this often makes you feel like you're getting something done.

If you're interested in the book of Proverbs, you shouldn't start reading the book of Matthew. If you feel like reading the book of Proverbs 10 times, read the book of Proverbs as many times as you wish. Don't get hung up on certain sections of the Bible that you're really not interested in.

If it's not enjoyable or fun, there's a good chance that reading the Bible will become a chore or something that you're really not interested in doing. Read the books or chapters that you're interested only interested in.

The main thing is to start and you can start reading anywhere and let this take you where ever you go. Reading the Bible should be fun and don't feel like you have to read, read because you want to read.
