By Gregory B  Articles For Christians

The Bible is full of literary treasures and some of these can benefit Christianity, while others produce hatred and can harm the unfortunate recipients whom this hatred is directed at. I know that most Christians don't want to hear anything that suggests any problems in the Bible, but you've got to learn to take the good with the bad.

There are plenty of literary treasures in Christianity and most of them can be found in the Holy Bible. According to the New Testament, Jesus said things constantly, that support loving and compassionate lifestyles.

It's hard for anyone, even atheists, nonbelievers or any other religion in the world to argue with basic love and compassion principles. These teachings can be used in any culture, anywhere all over the world. There are plenty of good things that support a good Christian lifestyle and many of these are located in the book that Christians refer to as God's Word, the Holy Bible.

Christians have the 10 Commandments to follow and these are simple rules or laws that can be followed by anyone, to produce a better society. God doesn't want you to lie, covet, commit adultery and he would like you to rest at least one day each week. These rules sounds simple and seem to produce great societies.

Jesus states that we should love our neighbors, treat our enemies as we would like to be treated and one of the most important literary treasures in the Holy Bible, is to help others and those who are less fortunate.

Simply starting with the basic literary treasuries of the Bible, can help anybody, to become better individuals, think about it for a moment. Loving every one that you know and helping every one, it doesn't get any better than this. The last sentence that you read, is Christianity in a nutshell.
