Living Only for God's Kingdom

By Gregory B  Articles For Christians

As Christians, you know what the kingdom of God is. I'm referring to heaven and it’s every Christian's ultimate reward for living a great life dedicated to their Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Living for God's kingdom, seeking the ultimate reward, but not knowing, whether you're truly going to go there is extremely confusing for most Christians. In the book of revelations, it often refers to only 144,000 people being allowed to enter the promise land.

That's 12,000 people from the 12 tribes of Judah. I don't know how, this all came about, but this doesn't leave very much room, for other people, especially the ones who don't belong to one of these 12 tribes. If this is true, can you actually join one of these 12 tribes or is it something you need to be born into.

Often living for God's kingdom, can get very confusing, but there's hope. If you choose to believe the Bible as the written word of God, without any mistakes, you could have a serious problem here, especially if you don't belong to one of these 12 tribes.

Now if you choose not to believe everything that you read in the Bible, there is some hope. You can choose to manipulate and interpret the text in a different way or only choose to listen to ministers or religious leaders that have already done so.

I'm not suggesting that you give up your hopes of going to heaven, I'm suggesting that you start to search for the truth. Is the Bible right and only a certain amount of people get to go to heaven, or can anyone who follows Jesus Christ and accept him as their Lord and Savior, also get to enter the kingdom of God.

I would like to suggest something here, especially for those Christians who are living their lives on Earth according to Biblical scripture, only so that they can be guaranteed a spot in heaven, to rethink the information that they have received, from those who aren't telling them the entire truth.

It's pretty simple, either only 144,000 people get to go to heaven, like it says in the Bible, or more than 144,000 people get to go to heaven and the Bible has made a mistake.
