Looking for God in the Bible - Curious Christians

By Greg Vanden Berge Articles For Christians

We read the Bible because we are looking for God, but does anyone really know where to look? Are you reading the Bible because you want to, because you have to, or are you really looking for the creator of the universe. That being or entity that created the universe. Does the Bible have the answers in it that you're looking for?

I just finished another book, " Did God Actually Say That." The book might not have all the answers that you're seeking, but generalizes on Bible verses that most people seem to question, quite often. Ever since I was a child, I have been searching for the creator of the universe and haven't found a satisfactory scientific explanation yet.

Have you, found the truth in the Bible and if so, do you have any evidence to back it up? In other words, if you agree that the Bible is the written Word of God, how can you prove it. If you're one of those Christians who apply faith to everything, for example if someone asked you, was Jesus the only son of God and you answer yes, you might want to read my book.

There is evidence that some of the event's in the Bible actually did take place, but most are extremely difficult to prove. If you are looking for God in the Bible, you will definitely find him. If you're looking for evidence to support every event that happened in the Holy Bible, you're going to run into a few problems.

When I say few problems, this could be an understatement. If you're looking for answers to Christianity, not all of them will be found in the Bible. You will have to search for the truth outside of Christianity.

“I think that in the discussion of natural problems we ought to begin not with the Scriptures, but with experiments, and demonstrations.” Galileo Galilei
