The Science of Intelligent Design

I just got through watching a pretty good movie on intelligent design. The people in the program were obviously picking on atheists and those who chose to believe in Darwinism. The bad thing about these movies is that you really never do get to see the other side of the problem, if it doesn't truly support the point that the program is trying to make.

First of all, what is intelligent design? It's basically a scientific theory that supports the claim that the universe was created by some sort of intelligent entity or some source of intelligence.

Let me give you an example of what I'm talking about, on this program, they mentioned that you would need a basic information structure, simply to create a single cell animal. This structure of information, would need to come from somewhere and this seems to be the biggest problem, between those who support each theory.

According to the program I was watching, you would have to get a certain sequence of information in a specific order and the odds of having a random act occur by itself in nature, would be unthinkable, but not impossible.

Intelligent design is also associated with creation and this seems to upset a lot of universities all over the country. The science of intelligent design, seems to be a big problem, within the scientific community. Often scientists support the theory of evolution, simply to irritate those who believe in creation.

Neither one of these theories have enough evidence to provide us with an intelligent view of how the world or universe came to be. We might not ever know, the truth about our creation, but let's not forget, that we need scientists, philosophers and educated people to provide us with theories about everything.

The biggest thing that we need to remember, is that they are simply theories and when it comes to the theory of evolution, creation or intelligent design, intelligent people need to remember, that these are just theories and have not been proven yet.
