I don't want to lump every single Christian into this category, but it's pretty common among most Christians. They're not interested in looking at or hearing about the evidence that is provided by science, atheists and other people.

If an atheist told a Christian that the Bible was actually written by man, organized by man and then these same people told everyone else that this particular book was inspired by God. You could find yourself in the middle of a debate, otherwise referred to as an argument.

I'm not suggesting that there is proof to actually make a claim that the Bible wasn't written by God, but there also isn't any proof to support the claims by many Christians that the Bible is with out a doubt the written word of the Creator of the universe.

In other words, here are the facts, there isn't any evidence to prove that the Bible was written by the Creator of the universe or the God of the Old Testament. It would also be hard to provide enough evidence to support any statements, that it wasn't.

These are the facts and the truth. Just because someone holds up the Holy Bible and starts making claims from it, doesn't mean that it's true. It simply means that these people are not as informed as you now are.

Most rational people that can be reasoned with can understand what I'm talking about. If I have the evidence to support my claims, open-minded and rational thinking people should be able to examine this information and make some sort of conclusion, with the evidence in front of them.

It's time for Christians to quit being afraid, simply because their religious leaders are telling them to be afraid. It's time for Christians to start asking the tough questions and looking for the evidence to support the claims that they are making.

It's also time for Christians to start looking at the evidence that other people are asking them to look at. It's not just unreasonable, to avoid examining evidence and continue to make claims with out any, but it's not getting us anywhere.

If Christians, atheists, non-believers and other religions, once to find the truth, they're going to have to start examining the evidence.
