Should Christians Worship One God?

If you understand some of the religions all over the world, you will understand that those who practice Judaism and worship in Islamic temples, only pray to one God. These religions only worship one God, were Christians seem to worship three gods and combine them into one God.

It gets kind of confusing, but I think I can simplify it, for those of you who don't really understand the Trinity. The Trinity consists of three god like beings that seem to form one God. There is the original God from the Old Testament who was the creator of the world and then there is the Holy Spirit who seems to hang around everyone who believes that they are guided or looked after by a spiritual entity.

Then there's Jesus, we can't forget the Christian God who seems to be responsible for one of the largest religions in the world, Christianity. Jesus was actually a man who lived on the earth for a short period of time and seem to influence a lot of people, who formed a religion from the teachings of this spiritual master.

Jesus was actually a man who was also a God and was a man who will become, upon death, God. That might sound kind of confusing, but you need to understand, that the Bible isn't 100% accurate when it states that Jesus is a God or he isn't a God and I want you to think about this for a moment, there is only one verse in the Bible that supports the Trinity. It's even confusing.

Should Christians worship one God? It's hard to answer that question. The original God who created the world, stated that there were others like him in the first chapter of Genesis. John states that in the beginning, there was the word and the word is often referred to be, Jesus.

I need to stop right there, before it really starts to get confusing. If you're a Christian, you need to recognize that God is God, the Holy Spirit is God and Jesus is actually God also. If you choose to worship one God, you simply need to combine all three of them or pray to them and worship them individually with the expectation that the other gods won't be insulted.

I hope that I simplify its something that is extremely confusing.
