Standing up for What Is Right - Hypocritical Christians

By Greg Vanden Berge  Articles For Christians

Almost everyone in the world has heard and used the words moral principles and ethics, but do they ever apply them to their life or their religious beliefs.

I quit practicing Christianity when I was 18 years old and one of the main reasons that I separated myself from Christianity was the hypocritical beliefs of most Christians, that I surrounded myself with. In other words almost every Christian that I knew only followed certain rules from the Bible.

I would imagine, that most of your top notch, super Christians, don't follow all of the rules in the Bible.

When are Christians going to stand up for what's right? I would like to add all of the other religions in the world to this category. When are all of the practicing religions, going to stand up for what they truly believe in and start living their lives accordingly?

I realize that I am not perfect and do say things that are hypocritical, but I do the best that I can to avoid these things. I am constantly, trying to develop better habits and consider myself a self-help junkie. I have been taking steps in the right direction for quite some time now. These steps might seem small sometimes, but when I start adding them up, my life has made giant leaps and bounds towards the person who I want to become, eventually.

By rejecting Christianity, I rejected all of the hypocritical people who live their lives going to church on a regular basis, yet have very little knowledge of the Bible or Christianity.

If you really want to be a Christian, start practicing Christianity and this will require learning something about your religion. Start today, start reading the Bible, start studying early Christianity and look for other books that can help you become the Christian you have always envisioned yourself to be. Knowledge is power and power can change your life, forever.
