Is the Bible the Written Word of God?

Did God really write the Bible? Did man write the Bible and then got everyone to believe that God wrote it? Did the Bible fall out of the sky, already written? There's one more question that I would like to ask you before starting the article, Did man write the Bible but God told them what to write?

Well here's the good news and this is what we know for sure, without a doubt, man did write the Bible. Who these men actually were, can be disputed. For example, no one knows for sure that Moses wrote the first five books of the Bible. He could have written one of them, or all of them, nobody really knows for sure.

Some of the Old Testament was written almost 3400 years ago and that's not even a for sure thing. That's the best guess and that's about as close as we can get, when we say that this person or that person wrote the Bible, these are educated guesses only.

Let's take the book of John in the New Testament, they know that the author's first name is John, and they're pretty sure that it was a man also known as John the Evangelist, but they're not 100% sure.

I would like to make a note of something here, all of the information that I have gathered is from external sources like the Internet, books and videos. I'm not suggesting that I know everything about the Bible.

With that said, was the Bible the written Word of God? It all depends on how you interpret the written word and God.

If you look at God as the source of everything, the Bible would have clearly been written by him. If you look at God as the creator of everything, this could be disputed, simply because man wrote the Bible and other men put it together.

Are you confused yet? You are going to hear plenty of things from plenty of people unless you do the research on your own. I can't tell you how important it is to educate yourself about early Christianity. This will strip away some of the confusion about who wrote the Bible.

Here's my opinion, man wrote the Bible and men created Christianity. The Bible could have been inspired by God or it could have been a divine intervention, but the facts suggest something different, individual men, wrote individual books and these were assembled to form the old and new Testaments.

Do the research, educate yourself and within a short period of time, you will know the truth, about who wrote the Bible.
