Theory of Evolution and the Bible

Most atheists use Darwin's theory of evolution as a basis for most of their arguments against Christianity and other religions throughout the world. Most Christians use the Bible as their weapon of choice and both of them seem to have a couple of large holes in.

Darwin's book the origin of species, starts from a single cell animal and works its way up to larger and more complex species, including men. How the universe started and the creation of the planets, along with the missing link between apes and men, seem to create problems in the theory of evolution as creation.

I'm not saying that men could not have evolved from apes or that other animals, couldn't have evolved from a single cell animal. It's a theory and not a fact. My biggest problem with the theory of evolution is where did the single cell originate from?

The Bible's theory of creation is a little more far-fetched and almost sounds like a mythological story. However, it's simple and easy to understand and can be read, and understood in less than 20 minutes, by most people. Especially, Christians.

I don't know how, either one of these theories became believable as facts, without scientific evidence to support them, but I would imagine, that if you told something to someone long enough and other people within your sphere of influence, reinforced this kind of thinking, I couldn't think of anything that wouldn't make sense to an intelligent person, over time.

Remember readers, that the theory of evolution is still a theory and the story of creation is still a story. Neither one of these have enough satisfactory scientific evidence to support them as a truth or fact.
