| What if the Jews were right and Jesus isn't the Messiah? | ||||

By Greg Vanden Berge Articles For Christians God Said What Videos A little less than 2000 years ago, some Jewish leaders made a decision and they have stuck with it for years. Jesus was not the Messiah and he did not come to save the world. These beliefs hold true with most Jewish denominations. As Christians though, have you ever thought about this. Some of these Jewish groups were extremely educated about Bible prophecy. Why would the Jews have killed their Messiah if they had any doubt in their minds? This really doesn't make much sense, does it? Who's going to kill their own King? Most Christians don't realize, that Jesus didn't fulfill all of the prophecies. There is no evidence to support that he fulfill any of them. There is plenty of speculation in the New Testament Bible verses to support these claims, but let's keep one thing in mind, the New Testament was written until, after the death of Jesus. Speculation can get us into plenty of trouble and educating yourself with books that aren't entirely true or hard to understand and contradict themselves, could create problems if you're sincerely seeking the truth. As Christians, you need to keep one thing in the back of your mind. What if Jesus wasn't the Messiah? We see it all over the world today, Hindus believe in their gods, Muslims believe in their God, Jews believe in their God and Christians believe in their God, but have they educated themselves with the right books? Do they know the truth, or don't they? Most Christians, condemn other religions because of their beliefs, often not knowing themselves, the truth. How do you know for sure that your religious text is telling you the truth? There is one way to find out and I have been suggesting this for quite some time now. Educate yourself outside of your religion. If you're a Christian, I would suggest that you go down to your local library and get a few books on different religions. These books will not be a waste of your time, they will allow you to understand other religions, all over the world. This could be very helpful if you're honestly seeking the truth about Christianity. Sometimes, in order to find the answers, we need to step outside of our original beliefs. That's what I needed to do and I did it. |
