Would You Pray to Tom, Roger or Sandy?

This might sound a little ridiculous, but if you were praying to God, would you need to use the right name or could you pray to God using anyone's name. For example, no one knows what gods name really is, unless you worship a God with a particular name.

Let's use Christianity for example, most of the people that I'm familiar with, pray to Jesus as their Lord and Savior. Jesus is the one true God, but he is also part of three other gods. Most English-speaking people are familiar with the names Jesus, God and even the Holy Spirit.

So if you were going to pray or worship, would you pray to Tom, Roger or Sandy? Would you use another name, to worship the same person? If it's okay to worship someone by using another name, then continue praying to Jesus. If it isn't, shouldn't you take the time, to learn how to pronounce and spell your gods real name correctly.

Here's what I've learned to date, Jesus was born with the name Yeshua or Yahshua. I don't even know if that's the correct name that Jesus was born with, and I don't think anyone else does either, otherwise there wouldn't be so much confusion.

I'm not even going to try to pronounce his name, but I would suggest that Christians learn how to pronounce and spell his name properly, and quit praying to a man made name like Jesus. What are you going to do, when you go to heaven and start asking around for a God named Jesus, when his name was Yeshua. Do you think they will let you into the Kingdom of God, even though you have been using the wrong name for years?

This should give Christians something to think about.
